My speciality is possibly round bale haylage, which I believe is the best quality in the area. I’ve dropped the  conventional sized haylage bales as they were expensive to make and difficult to handle but what I have done is alongside the 4′ diameter round haylage I’m also making some 3′ and 3’6” round bales for customers with one or two horses to take their place. Both sizes are available in meadow or ryegrass depending on the level of nutrition the horse requires. The ryegrass is suitable for studs, hunting yards, competition or racehorses but I have some meadow haylage made from fields that have had no spray or fertiliser and so would be suitable for good-doers.

I’m afraid I’ve had to alter my prices a number of times this season already to attempt to keep up with the increase in price I’ve had to pay to buy in hay to supply my regular customers – see prices page for update.

I’m afraid due to the shortage I’m not able to take on any new customers this season.
